Grace Tots provides a safe, caring environment for infants and toddlers (ages 0–2.5 years), allowing parents to focus on worship and learning about Christ knowing their children are well cared for. But more than that–serving in nursery helps establish the foundation of Christian community around loving discipleship through word and action–to play, read Bible stories, and express the love of Christ to the youngest among us.

✅We are looking for adults who love caring for young children

✅Ideal for patient, gentle, and attentive people who can create a nurturing space where babies and toddlers feel safe and loved

Serve once per month (or more, based on availability) during either the 9am or 11am worship service

Arrive 15 minutes before the service and stay until the last child is picked up and clean-up is complete

Due to our Safe Church policies, Diapering is not a responsibility of the volunteers, as parents are called when necessary.

✅ Attend Grace Baptist Church for a minimum of 6 months

✅ Safe Church training (Plan to Protect)

✅ Vulnerable Sector Police Check (reimbursed by church)

✅ Interview with Ministry Lead

✅ Attend other service when scheduled to serve (I.e. attend at 9am if serving at 11am)

✅ Brief orientation of nursery room protocols, attendance and safety standards

Caregivers – provide loving care through play, reading, singing, and supervision. In charge of sign-in/out, sanitizing, and clean-up

On-Ramp Option – shadow a current volunteer to learn the rhythm and responsibilities before serving independently
