Ministry Purpose / Vision

Parking Lot Attendants and Sidewalk Greeters are often the very first point of contact people have when arriving at Grace. More than simply pointing people to the right entrance, these roles help create a warm, welcoming, and orderly first impression of the church from the moment someone enters the property.

Through a friendly presence, helpful direction, practical assistance, and intentional conversation, they help newcomers, families, seniors, and regular attenders feel seen, cared for, and confidently guided into the life of the church. They play an important role in helping remove confusion, reduce stress, and prepare hearts for worship.

As part of Grace’s broader Welcome Team and “Newcomer Pathway,” Parking Lot Attendants and Sidewalk Greeters serve as the church’s first wave of hospitality—helping people experience the warmth, care, and welcome of Christ from their very first steps onto church property.
