We believe that even at a young age, children can begin to know God’s love and build a strong foundation of faith.

At Jr. Grace Kids, our heart is to see kids (3 to 6 year old) grow in their faith and love for Jesus. In a fun and caring environment, we help them BELIEVE in God’s Word, CONNECT with their church family, and learn to SHARE His grace with others. Every story told, song sung, and act of kindness is planting seeds that last forever.

Serving in Jr Grace Children’s Ministry is designed to fit your schedule:

• 1 to 2 times a month during the 9am Sunday service
• Arriving 15 minutes early to get settled
• Prep time for teachers is minimal since lesson plans and materials are provided. Assistant teachers can help prep before the children arrive, if needed
  

✅ Attend Grace Baptist Church for a minimum of 6 months

✅Safe Church training (Plan to Protect)

✅ Vulnerable Sector Police Check

✅ Interview with Ministry Lead

✅ Attend annual planning/training sessions

✅ Attend other service when scheduled to serve (I.e. attend at 9am if serving at 11am)

We also hold occasional check-ins and team gatherings throughout the year to stay connected and supported. These steps help keep our ministry safe, consistent, and welcoming for both children and volunteers.

Teacher – Jr. Grace Sunday School

• Lead engaging lessons and activities to help children BELIEVE in Jesus, CONNECT with His church, and SHARE His grace
• Perfect for confident, creative, and outgoing volunteers who enjoy guiding groups of children and leading worship, games, and discussions
• Up-front, medium-to-high energy role with direct interaction with kids

*Membership at Grace Baptist required for leading/teaching*

Assistant – Jr. Grace Sunday School

• Medium-energy, supportive role—less leading, more assisting and building relationships
• Support the lead teacher by helping manage activities, assist children, and provide encouragement throughout the lesson
• Great for volunteers who are caring, patient, and enjoy behind-the-scenes support while still engaging with children
